Banaton Bread Proofing Set

“The starter has risen and now the bread shall be baked! Wish me luck!” – Jeannie

Our 8-piece bread making set comes with everything you need to start making delicious golden, baked bread

Our bread baskets are made from the highest grade, sustainably sourced, unbleached Indonesian natural rattan. This art has been passed down many generations and has been perfected to make smooth, non-odor, and non-sticky bread proofing baskets

The proofing baskets make it easier to handle the dough. They help maintain a more consistent form in hydrated doughs, to better help the fermentation process using the wicker spirals as guides, and to more comfortably maneuver and flip the dough onto the baking tray. It also gives a spiral appearance on the crust

Each kit will include a 25cm Oval breadbasket and a 25cm Round breadbasket. Each with its own washable liner. Each basket is able to hold about 90g of dough. Remember that the bread will rise by 30% during baking

Bread making just got a lot easier with 2 washable linens. If you decide to put the dough directly on the baskets, make sure to use a generous amount of flour prior to each use and remove any excess flour after you are finished

To make life a little easier we have included a silicone baking mat which is easy to clean and it is microwave, dishwasher, oven, and freezer safe
